I can't believe how long it's been since I did anything serious!  I'd almost forgotten how much fun it is to just open up a file and let my imagination go wild.  Between being stuck with a crappy computer that wouldn't work with my tablet for over a year, a crazy work schedule, and helping with a couple community groups in town, I never seemed to have the time and energy at the same time. Sometimes, getting a cut in hours isn't all bad.

"The North American anime distributor Viz Media has confirmed at its New York Anime Festival panel on Sunday that it will start simulcasting the Inuyasha: The Final Act television anime series on Saturday, October 3. The streaming will be hosted at shonensunday.com/anime and hulu.com online. The television series will adapt the final 21 compiled book volumes in Rumiko Takahashi's original manga. The Animax Asia television channel will begin running the same anime series in several Asian countries on October 10 — one week after the Japanese premiere. Takahashi had ended the manga in the Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine in June o

I know there's a few of you out there in DA-land who like The Adventures of the Galaxy Rangers, and hopefully at least some of you are watching me and can help spread the word.  http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/news/Galaxy-Rangers-Collection-Volume-1/8892 is the announcement of the release of the first US GR boxset, coming in May 2008! For those of you who aren't fans (or just aren't old enough to remember it) it's a late 80s SF/Western cartoon which managed to avoid becoming a series of half-hour ads for toy companies.  Four Galaxy Rangers (interstellar cops, basically) travel to a variety of worlds, many of which have a decided Western theme, i

What is your favorite Rogues Gallery?
I'm sorry, I don't understand.  Are you referring to which hero's villains I like best?  Because that would be Batman's, hands down.  Although Flash always had interesting ones too, I've been a Bat-fangirl for a long time.
Rogues Gallery is what calls a collective group of opponents that are associated with a certain hero.

I could ask you for a Marvel-based example, but I rather not want to read about your knowledge about Marvel Comics is limited to any live-action movies based on their franchise.
Okay, wanted to make sure we were talking about rogues galleries in general, not groups officially referred to as Rogue's Galleries.

LOL Not even close.  I've read quite a few comics in my day - mostly X-type stuff, never really got into FF, Spider-man, or Avengers.  On the Marvel side, Wolverine has the coolest Rogue's Gallery, although Spider-man does have some interesting ones too. (I do like the movies, though.  It's nice to see Hollywood actually coming out with movies that actually capture the excitement of the comics.)

I admit that I've drifted away from the comics world in the last few years, though - it just got depressing that I was able to predict almost all of the plotlines to the point that I could even give a rough timeline for how long it was going to take for, say, Superman to come back from the dead or Bruce Wayne to reclaim the mantle of the Batman from Azrael.  It just got boring when even the biggest, most complicated storylines really didn't hold any surprises.
